當世代的兩端輕輕對摺，
剛好共享一個當下。
At the gentle fold between generations, both ends meet in a single moment.

Whether a city is livable depends, in part, on whether different generations can understand each other’s pace of life and feelings.

黎明公園正位於南屯中軸的轉折處，
一側是籃球場，另一側是黎明里活動中心。

少年手中籃球落地的節奏，
長者學習手作時交談的聲響，
兩個世代的生活軌跡在此交會。

Liming Park is situated at the bend of Nantun’s central axis. On one side of the park are the basketball courts, on the other is the Liming Community Center.
The rhythm of youth dribbling basketballs and the voices of elders chatting while learning handicrafts: here, the living trajectories of two generations intersect.

藝術家Mike童年時代，總是因為「天氣太好」而放不到颱風假，這也是很多臺中人小學時期的共同記憶。多年旅居外地後，這片晴朗又成了藝術家的鄉愁。於是他把這段記憶與情感，化作心中最真摯的顏色，透過鏡面的反射，轉化為對城市的溫柔凝視。

藝術家以鏡面勾勒出天藍色花朵，讓藍天倒映於地面，觀者得以「坐在天空裡」。作品是休憩座具，也是一片可以被共享的風景。它邀請人們停留、休憩與共享同一片晴空。以輕盈的形式回應內在情緒，讓觀者在熟悉的風景中，重新感知彼此的存在。

Artist Mike’s childhood was often marked by missed “typhoon holidays” because the weather was always too nice in Taichung—a shared memory for many locals. After years of living away, this clear sky and temperate weather became a source of growing nostalgia. He now transforms these memories and emotions into sincere colors, using mirrored reflections to create a gentle gaze upon the city.

Mike uses mirrors to outline sky-blue flowers, reflecting the blue sky onto the ground; he gives viewers a chance to “sit in the sky.” His artwork functions both as a seating area and a shared landscape. It invites people to linger, rest, and share the same clear sky. By responding to their inner emotions with a light touch, it allows viewers to rediscover each other’s presence within a familiar landscape.

他在草地上鋪設鏡面花朵，讓藍天倒映於地面。

當孩子們奔跑而過、長者停步休息，
他們的身影在鏡中重疊，也在同一片藍天下相遇。

Along this particular folded line, artist Mike He works with mirrored materials.
Mirrored flowers are placed on the grass, reflecting the blue sky.
As children run by and elders stop to rest, their respective images overlap in the mirrors, meeting under the same blue sky.
