Rules of Encounter
城市的每一次變化，都是一次緩慢摺疊。
從水平蔓延的聚落，到垂直疊合的高樓，
這座城市的肌理，在展開與收攏間呼吸。
2025創意台中「摺疊市」，
以圖書館為主展場，串聯衛星展區，
開啟相遇動線與共享邊界。
有些節點因設計思考被喚醒，
有些則延續城市日常的節奏。
相遇的草地、流動的節點、共享的街角，
人們在凝視與回望之間，成為彼此的風景。
Every transformation of the city is a slow folding, from “horizontal” settlements to vertically stacked skyscrapers.
The city’s texture breathes between expansion and contraction.
2025 Creative Taichung’s Co-Living, Co-Designed uses the city’s library as its main exhibition space, from which it connects satellite exhibition areas, thereby opening pathways for new encounters and shared boundaries.
Some nodes are awakened by design thinking, while others follow the city’s everyday rhythm.
On meeting lawns, along flowing nodes, and at shared street corners, in their forward gazes and backward glances, people become part of each other’s landscape.

Reading is the starting point for this city.
每一次閱讀，都是為了更好的展開。
那些專注的片刻，
讓城市的摺線重新被對齊。

Each page is a step towards a fuller unfolding.
Those moments of focused concentration, allow the city’s tangled lines to realign.

在草地上，不急著聊天
Read a little before you set out.
三座公園綠地，
世代在此交會，時間在此疊合，
即使是12月，有了陪伴就不會太冷。
Three parks and green spaces,
where generations meet and time overlaps.
Even in December, the warmth of companionship keeps the chill away.
當世代的兩端輕輕對摺，
剛好共享一個當下。
At the gentle fold between
generations, both ends
meet in a single moment.
這座公園以光為名，
位於南屯綠帶的尾端。
This park, named after light,
is located at the terminus
of the Nantun greenbelt.
嬉鬧，笑聲與風聲交織，
成為公園最動人的節奏。
Playful laughter mingled
with the sound of the wind
create a most captivating rhythm.

沿著摺線走，一起尋找方向
Tracing the folds,
finding your way together.
方向，也許不在地圖上，
而在我們彼此的步伐之間。
Our direction may not
be on the map, but instead in the
steps we take together.
光與時間的軌跡重疊，
人群成為流動的風景。
Tracks of light and time overlap,
as the crowd becomes
a flowing landscape.

共享，成為彼此的風景
In sharing, become each other’s scenery.
他們讓「共享」不再是理想，
而是日常中可被感知的溫度。
這些選擇聚在一起，就成了城市最溫柔的自治。
如果相遇有守則，那共享，便是最後一則。
If there are rules of encounter,
then “sharing” is the last,
but the most important rule.
